Our patching compounds will provide you with an easy to use product that will allow you to patch and level the concrete effectively. It is important to have a surface that is level and free from scaling, dusting and popping. Surface preparation is one of the most vital steps in the decorative concrete overlay process.

Renew-Crete Patch-It is a ready to use, co-polymer modified patching and leveling compound formulated to bond to almost any porous surface. It will cure to 5239 PSI after 28 days. Because of its high strength and ease of use, it is perfect for repairing rain damaged surfaces, scaling and dusting concrete, and leveling low spots. Patch-It can be applied from a feather edge to 1" thick. It can be broom, sponge or trowel finished and it can be screeded when necessary.

Another one of Renew-Crete's patching compounds is specifically designed for use with concrete stain . Patch-It Stain Base was formulated to cure a light shade of gray so that your acid stains will have more vibrant colors. If the concrete surface is discolored, popped or scaled then this product will provide you with a surface that is smooth and ready for staining.

Patch-It Stain Base should be applied after the surface has been misted lightly with water. Using a gauge rake or steel trowel, apply 1/8" of material evenly across the surface. Wearing 1" spikes shoes, walk into the fresh material and finish trowel as desired. If necessary, this product can be sanded with a buffing machine using 250 grit or finer pads after 72 hours. It can be applied from a feather edge up to 1" thick. Patch-It Stain Base can be stained after 48 hours.
